UNC Charlotte Mandatory Advising Hold Request Form
MANDATORY ADVISING HOLDS
Departments may stipulate that students in their major program be required to consult an advisor prior
to registering for the future semesters. This will be enforced by means of Advising Holds which will be removed only by the
department or at the department's instruction. Holds will restrict registration.
Please indicate below whether you wish to require advising for your majors. You may specify all majors or some identifiable
category of majors (Ex: Freshmen, students with GPA below 2.300, etc.). Please keep these specifications simple -- complex and
overlapping categories can be difficult to administer.
If you wish to require mandatory advising, please CLEARLY indicate which programs:
